Terms & Conditions

1. Purpose

These general terms govern the bike rental service offered by RDLServices, sole trader (SIRET 524 615 739), for tourism and seasonal leisure purposes.

2. Booking

Bookings can be made online via rdlservices.fr or by phone. A booking becomes effective once confirmed and, where applicable, a deposit has been paid. The renter must provide accurate information when booking.

3. Prices

Prices are shown in euros including all taxes on the website. They vary according to bike type and rental duration (half day, full day, weekend, week). RDLServices reserves the right to change prices at any time; the applicable prices are those in effect at the time of booking.

4. Payment

Payment can be made as a deposit at booking or in full on-site. Accepted payment methods are bank transfer and credit card.

5. Security deposit

A security deposit of €400 is required at the start of each rental. It can be paid by cheque (not cashed) or credit card imprint. The deposit is returned at the end of the rental if the equipment is returned in good condition.

6. Cancellation

The renter may cancel the booking at any time. In case of cancellation, the deposit is refunded by bank transfer or credit card refund, depending on the original payment method.

7. Age requirements

The renter must be at least 18 years old. Proof of identity may be requested when collecting the equipment.

8. Theft and damage

In case of theft or damage to the rented equipment, coverage is provided by ShareLock insurance, taken out by the renter at the time of rental. Without insurance, the renter is liable for damages and the deposit may be partially or fully retained.

9. Insurance

RDLServices offers optional ShareLock insurance covering theft and accidental damage. The renter is free to take out this insurance or not. Coverage details are provided before the rental.

10. Renter's responsibility

The renter agrees to use the rented equipment for its intended purpose, to comply with traffic regulations, and to return the equipment on the agreed date and location, in good working condition.

11. Applicable law

These terms are governed by French law. Any dispute relating to the rental contract shall fall under the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the registered office of RDLServices.
